League City - Bathroom Remodel
The original project consisted of replacing current vinyl and tile flooring in 2 bathrooms and a powder room with new tile; replacing 3 commodes, 1 pedestal sink, 1 laminate vanity top and sink with cultured marble; and an existing broken cultured marble skirt on a tub. Upon taking up the flooring in the master bath it was discovered that the shower pan had been leaking causing damage to the wooden floor. The structural floor needed to be repaired, including R38 insulation below and T-11 ceiling panels holding it in, and the shower pan too needed to be replaced at a minimum. For this and other reasons I decided to not only do this work but to also replace the entire shower with new cultured marble. We discovered that some flooring also needed to be repaired around the commode area due to a leaking flange.
Longhorn Maintenance stayed on the job, rescheduled their tile and plumbing sub-contractors as new delays arose with the job. In the end all was taken care of in a timely and professional manner.
